Heavy rain, up to 100mm, is expected in Karachi
A private weather agency has reported that a low-pressure system is currently over central India and moving toward Gujarat. This system is expected to bring rain to different parts of Pakistan.
In Karachi, rain is forecasted to start tomorrow evening and continue until Tuesday evening. Some areas might see moderate to heavy showers. Rain could last intermittently until Thursday, with expected rainfall between 30 and 50 millimeters, and in some places, it could reach up to 100 millimeters.
The Meteorological Department has also issued a warning about a strong monsoon system that will start affecting Sindh, including Karachi, from tonight. This system is likely to bring thunderstorms and rain to Karachi on Monday and Tuesday.
The department predicts that some parts of Karachi may experience moderate to heavy rainfall, which could lead to significant weather events.
Residents should be prepared for rainy weather, including heavy downpours and thunderstorms, and stay updated with weather information to take necessary precautions.
