India Selected to Host Men’s Asia Cup 2025 India has been announced as the host for the Men’s Asia Cup in 2025, which will be played in the T20 format.
The 2027 edition of the Men’s Asia Cup will shift to the ODI format and will take place in Bangladesh. Both tournaments will feature six teams: India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and a sixth team that will be determined through a qualifying event.

Additionally, the Women’s Asia Cup is scheduled to be played in the T20 format in 2026.
This information was disclosed following the Asian Cricket Council’s (ACC) release of an Invitation for Expressions of Interest (IEOI) document on Saturday. The document invites interested parties to submit their expressions of interest for ACC Sponsorship Rights from 2024 to 2027.
