The rollout is now anticipated to occur with the iOS 18.3 update, which is scheduled for January 2025.
Apple has already released the beta version of iOS 18.1, which includes some exciting new features powered by AI. These features include AI-generated summaries for unread messages, a writing tool in the Notes app, and an additional option in the Control Center. The stable version of iOS 18.1 is expected to be available in October 2024, followed by iOS 18.2 in December 2024.
Some of the most exciting AI features were showcased during Apple’s WWDC 2024 and the iPhone 16 series launch event. These features are expected to be ready for the market in the first quarter of 2025, with the introduction of the Siri AI assistant in iOS 18.4.
