Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6 specs: Earlier today, details of the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold6 surfaced, and now it’s time for the Galaxy Z Flip6 to undergo the same scrutiny. Reportedly, the phone will feature a 6.7-inch 1080×2640 Dynamic AMOLED 2X folding screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate, along with a secondary 3.4-inch 720×748 Super AMOLED cover display. Powering this device will be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy chipset.

Storage options will include 256GB or 512GB. The main camera is anticipated to be a 50 MP unit with an f/1.8 aperture, possibly identical to that of the Galaxy S24 series and Galaxy Z Fold5. The 12 MP ultrawide camera remains unchanged from the Flip5, while selfies will be captured using the same 10 MP front camera as last year.

Connectivity options for the Flip6 will include Wi-Fi 6E and 14 5G bands, with support for Bluetooth 5.3 and USB 3.2 Gen 1. Physically, the Flip6 will measure 165.1 x 71.9 x 6.9 mm when unfolded, weighing 187g, identical to its predecessor. However, it will boast a larger 4,000 mAh battery.

Expected to be priced $100 higher than its predecessor, the Flip6 will be unveiled alongside the Fold6, Watch7, Watch Ultra, and possibly the Galaxy Ring at Samsung’s upcoming Unpacked event, rumored to be scheduled for July 10.

Recent leaks have unveiled the complete specifications of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6, revealing significant design changes. Samsung has reimagined the dimensions of the device, making it slightly shorter and wider. More notably, the aspect ratios of its screens have undergone significant adjustments, promising a different user experience.

Despite these alterations, certain features remain unchanged. Notably, the phone is now thinner and lighter, aimed at providing a more conventional bar phone feel when folded. This redesign suggests Samsung’s intent to enhance both functionality and ergonomics in its latest foldable offering.

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 will feature a redesigned cover display measuring 6.3 inches diagonally, now equipped with a resolution of 968 x 2376 pixels, translating to a 22.1:9 aspect ratio. Despite the changes, it retains a 120Hz refresh rate and uses LTPS panel technology.

Internally, the device boasts a 7.6-inch display with a resolution of 1856 x 2160 pixels, marking a shift from the previous model’s 1812 x 2176 resolution. The aspect ratio is now 10.5:9, which is slightly closer to square compared to last year’s Fold. This internal display also supports a 120Hz refresh rate but uses non-LTPO display technology.

These updates indicate Samsung’s effort to optimize the display specifications of the Galaxy Z Fold6, potentially improving usability and visual performance across both screens.
