No CMF Phone 1 Full-Frontal Live Image Leaks
Nothing, the sub-brand of Carl Pei’s venture, is set to unveil its inaugural smartphone, the CMF Phone 1, on July 8. Today, a reliable source leaked a live image showcasing the front of the device, revealing its display and confirming several long-rumored specifications, including details visible on the Android “About phone” screen.
The CMF Phone 1 will debut with Nothing OS 2.6.0 out of the box. It will be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300 SoC, coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage in this variant. The smartphone features a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen, a 5,000 mAh battery, a 50 MP rear camera, and a 16 MP front-facing camera.
Most of these specifications have already been officially confirmed by Nothing through its recent teaser campaigns. Earlier today, the brand also unveiled the phone’s back design, complementing the leaked front image and providing a comprehensive view of the device.
Additionally, Nothing will offer interchangeable back covers for the CMF Phone 1, which will include options with extra battery capacity, a wallet for credit cards (located at the top right), and some with a kickstand (positioned at the bottom). Notably, the SIM ejector tool attached to the device features a screwdriver head on the other end, facilitating easy customization of back plates.
The removable back covers will be available in four colors: black, blue, light green, and orange, providing users with the flexibility to personalize their device beyond standard cases. This approach underscores Nothing’s commitment to offering unique, customizable experiences with its debut smartphone.
