Google Pixel 9 Pro XL Hands-On Review
The Google Pixel 9 Pro XL has a new design with flat sides, similar to Apple’s style. The camera bump on the back is now more of a separate piece, rather than stretching from side to side.
The phone features a 6.8-inch LTPO OLED display with nearly QHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Both the front and back are protected by flat Gorilla Glass Victus 2, with a matte finish on the back.
The new Tensor G4 chip is only 15% faster than the previous G3 model, which is slower compared to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. However, Google has improved the battery life, even though the battery capacity remains the same at 5,050mAh.
The camera system includes a 50MP main camera, a 48MP ultra-wide camera, and a 48MP 5x zoom periscope camera, which are the same as last year’s models. The front-facing camera has been upgraded from 10.5MP to 42MP.
