Infinix Zero 40 5G Spotted on SIRIM Infinix is preparing to launch two new mid-range smartphones, the Zero 40 4G and 5G. While official details have not been disclosed yet, recent leaks have unveiled key specifications for both models. The Zero 40 5G, intended for the Malaysian market, has received SIRIM certification as of July 25, 2024, under the model number X6861.
The 4G variant has yet to surface, indicating that it’s still early in the unveiling process for both devices. Given its naming convention, the Zero 40 series will likely succeed last year’s Zero 30, which was priced at RM1,299.
Regarding specifications, the Zero 40 5G is anticipated to feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with curved edges, similar to its predecessor. Geekbench leaks suggest it will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset coupled with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, although regional variations in configuration are expected.
According to a design leak, the Zero 40 5G may feature a triple-camera setup, although details about the specific sensors remain undisclosed. Additionally, there are indications that the device will support 45W fast charging and come pre-installed with Android 14.
