Govt declares public holiday on Sept 17 for Eid Milad-un-Nabi

A notice from the Cabinet Division has confirmed that on September 17, 2024, all schools, colleges, and both public and private offices will be closed. The Punjab government has also announced that there will be a holiday on the same day for 12th Rabi’ul Awwal.

The federal government has announced that Tuesday, September 17, 2024, will be a public holiday to celebrate Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAW). This day marks the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), which is an important event for Muslims.
