The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has instructed banks to report all loans provided to women

The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has instructed all banks and DFIs to include details of loans given to women and enterprises owned or managed by women in their yearly financial reports.

This directive, announced in a circular on Monday, will start from the financial year ending on December 31, 2024.

Banks must now provide information in a separate section called “Advances to Women, Women-owned and Managed Enterprises” under sub-notes 9.2.1 & 9.2.2 of Note 9 ‘Advances’ in their current reporting formats.
