Gold price in Pakistan stays the same as international trend. On Monday, the price of gold in Pakistan saw a slight drop, settling at Rs. 241,500 per tola, according to data released by the Karachi Sarafa Association. The price of 24-carat gold fell by Rs. 200 per tola to Rs. 241,500, and for 10 grams, it decreased by Rs. 172 to Rs. 207,047.
The Sarafa Association attributed the decrease to a decline in buyers’ purchasing power, reducing the cost of gold by Rs. 1,500. In the international market, spot gold remained unchanged at $2,327.50 per ounce at 0932 GMT, while US gold futures slipped 0.1 percent to $2,337.80.
