Engineering Student Invents Brain-Controlled Electric Wheelchair
A talented student at Engineering University Mardan has unveiled an electric wheelchair controlled by brain signals.
Adil Bacha, the mastermind behind this revolutionary invention, elaborated that it caters to patients with intact brain function but bodily paralysis.
Bacha emphasized its suitability for patients unable to communicate verbally, enabling them to independently traverse between destinations.
“I designed this wheelchair to grant patients the freedom of movement,” he stated.
Pakistani students consistently showcase their ingenuity by devising innovative solutions to societal challenges. Recently, two students from Shah Abdul Latif University in Khairpur devised a drone ambulance to aid flood-affected individuals. This drone can reach remote areas inaccessible to humans, providing vital medications and first aid. Additionally, it possesses the capability to identify individuals in need of assistance.
