Redmi K70 Extreme Edition Launched Featuring Dimensity 9300+ and D1 Chip, Including Lamborghini Variant Today, Xiaomi launched the Redmi K70 Extreme Edition, positioned as the pinnacle of its series that debuted in late 2023.

Performance and Hardware

The device is powered by a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipset, available with 12 GB, 16 GB, or 24 GB of RAM. Featuring a high-performance Cortex-X4 core clocked up to 3.4GHz, it promises robust processing capabilities. Accompanying this is a specialized D1 chip for graphics, designed on a 12nm process to support up to 1.5K resolution (1080p) and optimize power consumption by up to 15%, particularly during gaming.

Cooling and Build

Equipped with a 3D cooling chamber, the Redmi K70 Extreme Edition effectively lowers temperatures by 3°, ensuring sustained performance under load. The device boasts a metal frame, with Longjing glass utilized on both front and back surfaces, contributing to its IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.

Display and Cameras

Featuring a 6.67-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2712×1220 pixels, the screen supports a 144Hz refresh rate, 1,600 nits of typical brightness, and peaks at 4,000 nits. It offers a 480Hz regular touch sampling rate and an instantaneous touch sampling rate of 2160Hz, with 3840Hz PWM dimming. The rear camera setup includes a Sony IMX906 50MP main sensor, alongside an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro lens. For selfies, there’s a 20MP front-facing camera.

Battery and Charging

The phone is powered by a 5,500mAh battery supporting 120W fast charging. Charging is monitored by a Xiaomi Pengpai P2 chip, while a G1 chip safeguards battery health.

Pricing and Variants

Starting at CNY 2,599 (€330/£270/$360/INR 30,000, converted), the Redmi K70 Extreme Edition is available in Black, White, or Blue color options, with configurations including 12/256GB, 12/512GB, 16/512GB, and 16GB/1TB. Additionally, there’s a special Lamborghini-branded Champion Edition featuring 24 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage, priced at CNY 3,999 (€500/£420/$550/INR 46,000, converted).
