Ambassadors from Seven Countries Present Diplomatic Credentials to President Zardari Islamabad: President Asif Zardari emphasized Pakistan’s significant investment opportunities and extended invitations to foreign countries to capitalize on its conducive investment environment.
Addressing a ceremony at Aiwan-i-Sadr, President Zardari welcomed the envoys of seven countries who presented their diplomatic credentials. The envoys included Titus Mehliswa Jonathan Abu-Basutu from Zimbabwe, Sharifzoda Yusuf Toir from Tajikistan, Harerimana Fatou from Rwanda, Sebastian Sayus from Argentina, Wunna Han from Myanmar, Sok Chea from Cambodia, and Dr. Batlang Comma Serema from Botswana.
During separate meetings with the envoys, President Zardari underscored Pakistan’s investment-friendly policies, encouraging foreign investors to explore opportunities in sectors such as agriculture, livestock, information technology, energy, and mining.
He expressed Pakistan’s commitment to expanding cooperation across various fields, particularly in trade, investment, and culture, with all friendly nations. President Zardari emphasized the importance of enhancing economic and trade relations through increased interaction between business communities.
President Zardari congratulated the envoys on their appointments and expressed confidence in their contributions to enhancing mutually beneficial cooperation. Earlier, the envoys received a guard of honor from a well-presented contingent of the armed forces.
