WhatsApp Tests AR Effects and Filters for iPhone Video Calls.
Meta-owned WhatsApp is getting ready to add augmented reality (AR) features to its video calls. These new features will let you use special effects and filters during video calls. According to WABetainfo, a site that tracks WhatsApp updates, these AR features have been seen in the latest iOS update (version 24.17.10.74), which is available for testing on TestFlight.
WABetainfo also mentioned that WhatsApp plans to offer these AR features to iPhone users, similar to how they are already available for Android users. This means iPhone users will soon be able to add fun and interactive effects to their video calls, just like Android users can.
