The Pakistan Meteorological Department’s Early Warning System has alerted residents of Karachi and other parts of Sindh to brace for potential thunderstorms, strong winds, and lightning starting Monday.

Rainfall is expected in Karachi from July 8 to July 10, triggered by monsoon winds sweeping into the region. Other areas likely to experience rainfall include Ghotki, Sukkur, Khairpur, Kashmore, Shikarpur, Dadu, and Jacobabad.

While the monsoon brings some relief, most of the province will continue to experience hot and humid weather. However, coastal areas like Karachi are forecasted to receive isolated showers.

Temperatures are predicted to range between 37 to 39 degrees Celsius. Residents are advised to take necessary precautions due to the sudden weather change.
