Trade Between Poland and Pakistan Exceeds $920 Million

The Ambassador of Poland, Maciej Pisarski, said that the total trade between Poland and Pakistan is now more than $920 million. Pakistan sold goods worth $800 million, helped by a special agreement that lets Pakistani products enter Poland without paying taxes. On the other hand, Poland sold goods worth $128 million to Pakistan last year.

During a visit to the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), Ambassador Pisarski led a top-level business team from Poland. He emphasized the importance of bringing together Polish business leaders and their Pakistani counterparts to explore opportunities. This approach aims to build future partnerships and help Polish entrepreneurs understand Pakistan’s potential firsthand.

The relationship between Poland and Pakistan, which has lasted for 62 years, has been marked by cooperation and respect. Ambassador Pisarski pointed out that there’s a lot of potential to strengthen these ties even further.

Poland has the 21st largest economy globally, with a GDP of $1.4 trillion, making it the sixth largest in the European Union. He described Poland’s economy as dynamic, innovative, and strong, with impressive growth rates. Since 1990, the Polish economy has grown by 900%, with trade worth around $700 billion this year.
