The Vision Pro headset might be ready for its global release after WWDC 2024
Recent reports suggest that Apple will start selling the Vision Pro headset in other countries after WWDC 2024. Ming-Chi Kuo, a well-known Apple analyst, mentioned that the headset will be available in the UK, France, Germany, China, Japan, and Singapore by mid-June, right after WWDC. Kuo also predicted that Apple would ship between 400,000 and 450,000 units globally, indicating that their plans for an international rollout are progressing as planned.
It’s expected that Apple will reveal more information about the Vision Pro’s availability and pricing during next week’s WWDC event, along with updates to visionOS, the software that runs the headset.
This international launch follows reports of reduced demand for the Vision Pro in the US, leading Apple to reduce its orders. Kuo previously mentioned in April that demand for the headset in the US market was lower than expected.
At WWDC, Apple is likely going to talk about changes coming to visionOS, which is the software that runs on the Vision Pro headset. People are curious to know what upgrades the new version of the operating system will bring to the headset.
This could include things like new features, better performance, or improvements to how the headset works. Overall, it’s an exciting time for Vision Pro users as they anticipate these updates and how they might enhance their experience with the device.
