The Redmi Note 14 Pro, recently listed on the IMEI database, indicates an imminent launch. Scheduled to debut in China in September, following last year’s Redmi Note 13 series pattern, it is expected to expand to markets like India early next year.
According to Digital Chat Station, the Redmi Note 14 Pro will feature a 1.5K micro-curved display, blending aesthetics with a slight edge curvature for user convenience. It will also incorporate a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera.
In terms of photography, the phone is set to sport a 50-megapixel primary camera, utilizing a superior sensor, potentially the Sony Lytia LYT-600, for improved image quality despite the lower megapixel count. Unlike its predecessor, it will forego a telephoto lens, focusing instead on enhancing primary camera performance.
Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC and equipped with a 5,000mAh battery, the Redmi Note 14 Pro promises robust performance and extended usage.
Comparing it to the Redmi Note 13 Pro, which launched earlier with a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED display and Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chip, the Redmi Note 14 Pro offers an upgraded primary sensor while omitting the higher megapixel count and telephoto capabilities of its predecessor.
