Samsung postpones Galaxy Buds 3 Pro pre-orders citing quality concerns Samsung’s newly launched Galaxy Buds 3 Pro are facing delays in pre-orders due to quality concerns surrounding the silicone ear tips. Originally set for open sale on July 24, the release date has been pushed back significantly. In the US, availability is now scheduled for August 28, while the UK and Germany branches indicate shipping from August 16. Notably, Amazon US has removed the Buds 3 Pro listing altogether.

The primary issue causing delays appears to be the susceptibility of the silicone ear tips to tearing when removed, rendering them unusable. Users have reported instances of tips tearing during removal, prompting Samsung to issue a step-by-step guide on safe removal techniques. The guide advises against twisting the ear tips or using fingernails during removal to prevent damage.

Samsung has also addressed the situation through an official community post on its Samsung Korea forum, expressing gratitude to customers who participated in the pre-sale and apologizing for any inconvenience caused by the quality issues. The company has assured customers that it will conduct thorough inspections before the official launch to prevent similar incidents in the future.
