The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has announced that nearly 100 medical students from Gaza will be allowed to finish their education in Pakistan. This decision comes as the conflict in Gaza continues for almost ten months, severely disrupting the lives and education of many students there.

The PMDC, which oversees medical and dental professions in Pakistan, made this decision after a request from Pakistan’s High Commissioner in London. They carefully considered the situation and decided to offer this educational opportunity to the affected students.

By letting these students continue their studies in Pakistan, it not only helps them but also shows Pakistan’s support for those affected by the conflict.

The PMDC’s decision is a meaningful show of solidarity and support, ensuring that these students can still pursue their dreams of becoming qualified medical professionals despite the challenges in their home country.

This initiative provides a stable environment for the students to complete their education and fulfill their aspirations in medicine and dentistry. It also promotes international cooperation and goodwill by integrating them into Pakistan’s medical education system.
