PM Shehbaz Promises 1 Million Smartphones for Students

PM Shehbaz Promises 1 Million Smartphones for Students. At an event for International Day of Youth, he announced that the government will give one million smartphones to top students this year. These phones will be a gift from the federal government.

He believes that with access to modern education and technology, young people can help the country advance, similar to the progress made in China.

The Prime Minister also pointed out that despite the country’s resources and 77 years of independence, it is still in debt and many people live in poverty. He said that while many struggle to meet basic needs, the wealthy enjoy many privileges.

Additionally, he promised to fund the education of 1,000 agricultural graduates in China to learn modern farming techniques. Huawei will also train 200,000 young people in IT skills. He will present a detailed development plan for the country on August 14.

At the event, he also launched several new initiatives, including the Commonwealth Youth Alliance Secretariat, the Digital Learning Portal, the PM Green Youth Movement, and the AI for Youth Programme, which provides Intel-certified skills to young people.
