OnePlus 13 Launch Date Confirmed
OnePlus fans can now mark their calendars for the upcoming launch of the OnePlus 13. Louis Lee, the President of OnePlus China, confirmed the phone’s launch during a recent announcement.
While the exact release date hasn’t been revealed yet, Lee’s mention of using “the latest generation of flagship chips” suggests that the OnePlus 13 will likely be released shortly after the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 is officially announced, which is expected to happen in mid-to-late October.
There’s speculation that the OnePlus 13 could be the first phone to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, but some rumors suggest that Xiaomi might have the exclusive rights to launch the first Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 phone.
The new Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip is expected to enable the OnePlus 13 to run the popular and demanding game Genshin Impact at 120 frames per second (fps). This means the phone should offer even better performance for gaming.
If OnePlus releases its flagship phone just a few days after Qualcomm introduces this new chipset, it would be a major first for the company. This quick turnaround would represent a big change for OnePlus, showing their commitment to bringing the latest technology to their customers as soon as possible.
