After it rained in Karachi, the K-Electric system had problems. More than 160 feeders were turned off, which affected different parts of the city.
Even though the rain has stopped hours ago, more than 160 K Electric power feeders are still not working.
Currently, a total of 172 feeders and several PMTs (Power Metering Transformers) are out of service. This has caused widespread power outages in many neighborhoods across Karachi.
As a result, residents in various parts of Karachi are protesting. They are frustrated because of the long electricity cuts.
At Daud Chowrangi, residents protested by blocking roads to show their frustration with the power outage.
Similarly, on Manghopir Road, locals also protested and demanded that the electricity supply be restored immediately.
