“Our bowling was consistent and pleasing,” added King.

South Africa’s captain expressed disappointment with the clean-sweep loss and gave credit to West Indies for playing better.

“It’s really disappointing. We didn’t expect this result. West Indies dominated us from the first game. We struggled to adapt, and today, we couldn’t stop their batting. I’m not happy with our performance,” said Van der Dussen.

“We talked about performing, but we couldn’t do it on the field. It’s time to stop talking and take responsibility. We need our experienced players to step up. There’s no excuse for our performance.”

“They surprised us with their batting and were better with the ball. We learned some lessons today.”
