Capcom confirms there will be a new Resident Evil game
Exciting news for Resident Evil fans! Capcom has confirmed during a recent online event that they are working on a new game in the popular horror series. The announcement came from Koshi Nakanishi, the director known for Resident Evil 7, which was well-received by fans.
Nakanishi mentioned that deciding on the direction for the franchise after Resident Evil 7 was a challenge. However, he assured fans that they have developed a “substantial” concept for the new game. Details about the game are still secret, but Nakanishi expressed hope that fans are eagerly awaiting the official reveal.
While specific information is limited, it strongly suggests that this will be the next main entry in the Resident Evil series. It remains to be seen if Capcom will continue with a numbered title like Resident Evil 9 or opt for a subtitle, similar to Resident Evil Village.
Aside from Resident Evil news, Capcom also made other announcements during their summer event:
– Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster: An upgraded version of the classic zombie-slaying game is set to release on September 19th. Players can expect enhanced graphics and gameplay improvements.

– Resident Evil 7 on iOS: The horror game is coming to mobile devices on July 2nd, featuring an auto-fire feature to simplify aiming and shooting with touch controls.
