The Balochistan Education Department has officially declared summer vacations for schoolchildren. As per a recent notification issued by the department, areas prone to heat will observe summer breaks from May 15 to July 31, while cooler regions will enjoy a shorter vacation spanning from July 22 to July 31.
This decision aligns with similar announcements made by the provincial education minister of Punjab, indicating a consistent pattern of two-month summer vacations for educational institutions. As per the minister’s statement, the summer holidays are scheduled to commence on June 7, 2024, and conclude on August 19, 2024.
The Education Department’s notification is awaited in the coming days to provide detailed guidelines and instructions to schools and colleges regarding the summer vacation schedule. This announcement brings relief to students and educators, allowing them to plan their activities and leisure time effectively during the summer break.
