In today’s T20 World Cup match between Australia and Oman, Marcus Stoinis played very well both in batting and bowling. Australia won by 39 runs against Oman in Barbados in a Group B match.
Australia had to bat first, and they were not doing very well initially, scoring only 50 runs with the loss of 3 wickets. However, Stoinis played an excellent innings, scoring 67 runs from just 36 balls. This helped Australia recover and set a total of 164 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in their 20 overs.
Stoinis and David Warner, another player from Australia, formed a partnership where they scored more than 100 runs together. Both of them scored more than 50 runs individually, which was a great achievement for Australia. This strong partnership contributed significantly to Australia’s total score.
Oman struggled during their run-chase as Australia’s collective bowling effort, led by Stoinis who took 3 wickets, proved too much for them.
