Apple Expected to Reveal iPhone 16
It’s almost confirmed: Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reports that Apple’s next big event is set for September 10. At this event, Apple is expected to reveal a range of new products.
We’re looking forward to seeing four new iPhones: the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max. Apple will also likely showcase the Apple Watch Series 10. In addition, there might be updates to their earbuds with the AirPods 4 and possibly new AirPods Max 2.
While Apple tends to keep rumors tightly under wraps compared to competitors like Samsung and Google, some details still manage to leak out.
Mark Gurman reports that the iPhone 16 will feature larger screens on the Pro models and new camera enhancements, including a dedicated button for taking photos. However, the most significant updates are expected for Apple’s wearables. The new Apple Watch is rumored to be thinner with larger screens, and there could be two new models of AirPods.

Capture Button
There have been mixed reports about a new feature on the iPhone 16, but it seems that Apple might be adding a special “Capture” button to some models. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, this button will work like a traditional camera shutter. Pressing it halfway will activate auto-focus, while pressing it all the way down will take a photo.
The button could also have a zoom feature. Swiping your finger across the Capture button might allow you to zoom in and out while taking pictures or videos. This feature is expected to be available on the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max, but it could also appear on the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus.
iPhone 16 Prices
This summer, it seems like many tech companies are increasing their prices. However, rumors suggest that Apple might keep the base prices for the iPhone 16 models the same. There could be a small price increase for the iPhone 16 Pro, as Apple may remove the 128GB storage option, which would raise the starting price by $100 to $1,099.
Big Changes Coming for Apple Watch Series 10
In 2024, Apple is rumored to make major updates to their products, starting with the Apple Watch Series 10. It’s expected to get its biggest design overhaul since the Apple Watch 7. Reports suggest there will be two new sizes: 45mm and 49mm, compared to the current sizes of 41mm and 45mm.
If the rumors are true, the Apple Watch Series 10 could feature a 2-inch display, making it the largest Apple Watch ever. However, this display might still be smaller than the 1.93-inch display on the Apple Watch Ultra, although it could have thinner bezels.
Possible New Health Features
There is also talk that the Apple Watch Series 10 could include new health features like sleep apnea detection and blood pressure tracking. These additions would be significant and could make the new watch very appealing. However, it’s uncertain whether these features will be available right away.
