Pakistani singer Aima Baig recently experienced a heart attack while on her international tour and is now receiving treatment in a hospital.
Known for her energetic concerts and popular music, Aima Baig has been traveling a lot as part of her busy schedule. This demanding travel, combined with not getting enough sleep, led to her heart attack.
On August 14, Aima Baig shared photos of herself from the hospital on Instagram. She explained that she had a mini-heart attack due to her hectic travel and lack of rest.
She wrote in her post: “After a mini heart attack because of too much traveling with zero sleep and all-nighters, one must not forget to pamper oneself.”
Aima Baig’s international tour started in July, with performances in Jeddah and Saudi Arabia.
Although Aima Baig planned to stay abroad for over a month for her tour, there have been rumors recently suggesting that she might leave the country and even the music industry. These rumors have overshadowed the latest news about her health and tour.
The popular singer Aima Baig caused worry among her fans when she announced on Thursday that she is leaving Pakistan and will miss her home country.
She used her Instagram stories to let her millions of followers know that she is traveling for Umrah, a pilgrimage to Mecca. Aima Baig hinted that she might not be coming back to Pakistan soon.
In her post, she said, “Goodbye Pakistan – for a while. I’m going to miss my country because I’m leaving for a longer period of time, not just a week or two or a month.” She included an upset face emoji.
She also added, “I wish I wasn’t leaving under these sad circumstances, but I know Allah will take care of everything, including the mental stress and challenges we face every day.”
