According to the latest information, the iPhone 16 Pro will feature a 3,577 mAh battery, marking an increase of over 9% compared to the iPhone 15 Pro’s 3,274 mAh battery. Meanwhile, the iPhone 16 Pro Max is expected to have a 4,676 mAh battery, which represents a more than 5% improvement over the iPhone 15 Pro Max’s 4,441 mAh cell.
While these upgrades in battery capacity are modest, they reflect Apple’s ongoing efforts to enhance battery performance. Combined with potential advancements in chipset and display efficiency, these improvements could result in better battery life for the new models.
Additionally, the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are rumored to support faster charging speeds, with 40W wired charging and 20W MagSafe wireless charging. This would be an upgrade from the iPhone 15 Pro’s 27W wired and 15W MagSafe charging capabilities, offering a notable enhancement in charging efficiency for users of the upcoming devices.
