IT Minister is Going to China for Global Digital Economy Conference 2024

Shaza Fatima Khawaja, Minister of State for IT and Telecommunication, has embarked on an official trip to China to represent Pakistan at the Global Digital Economy Conference (GDEC) 2024 in Beijing from July 2-5.

During her visit, the Minister will visit booths showcasing Pakistani tech companies and engage with their representatives. She is also scheduled to participate in the “Euro Asia Pakistan Digital Economy Forum” and take part in panel discussions.

Additionally, Shaza Fatima Khawaja will hold meetings with key figures including the President of China Academy of Information and Communication Technology (CAICT), the Global Vice President of NXP Semiconductors, and representatives from Alibaba Group.

The Global Digital Economy Conference 2024, hosted at the China National Convention Center in Beijing, aims to foster international collaboration in the digital economy sector.
