On Wednesday in New Murree, a total of 36 madrassah students were hospitalized due to food poisoning, fortunately all are reported to be in stable condition.
Emergency services were alerted when two madrassah students fell ill, prompting the dispatch of a motorbike and an ambulance. Upon arrival, responders found that 36 students had been affected by the food poisoning.
Initially, twelve of the students were taken to a nearby private clinic, while the remaining 24 were transported to another private hospital. Eventually, all affected students were transferred to Civil Hospital Murree for further treatment and observation.
Emergency services acted swiftly to ensure all students received necessary medical care. The cause of the food poisoning remains under investigation, with authorities aiming to identify and address the source of contamination to prevent future incidents.
