Chahat Fateh Ali Khan is getting ready to release his first movie ‘Sabaq’ this Eid: Internet sensation Chahat Fateh Ali Khan recently made an exciting announcement about his upcoming film called Sabaq. He shared the film’s trailer on X (formerly known as Twitter) along with a message to his followers, stating that his first movie, Sabaq, will be released on Eid Mubarak day, InshaAllah.

Directed by Faraz Ahmed, Sabaq is a comedy movie that explores the themes of second marriages and the world of social media influencers. The trailer gained popularity quickly on the internet, showing Khan in his typical style. It features scenes of Khan portraying himself, capturing his iconic video snippets on his phone. In the trailer, Khan also delivers his well-known catchphrase, “King of hearts, Chahat Fateh Ali Khan, all the way from London.”

The film promises to bring humor to current social issues, mixing Khan’s unique personality with a storyline that shows the complexities and funny sides of modern relationships and online fame. Khan’s portrayal of himself adds authenticity and charm to the movie, making Sabaq eagerly awaited by his fans and comedy lovers.

In December, the British-Pakistani sensation, known for his viral singing videos, surprised many by entering politics. He decided to run as an independent candidate and officially submitted his nomination papers for a seat in the National Assembly (NA). Taking to X, Khan, whose real name is Kashif Rana, announced his candidacy for Lahore’s NA-128, holding his nomination papers in hand. This move adds another dimension to his public image. Widely known as ‘Chahat Fateh Ali Khan,’ he rose to fame as an internet singing sensation, captivating millions with his unique style.

Before gaining recognition in music and politics, Khan had a stint as a first-class cricketer in Pakistan. During the 1983-84 season of the Quaid-e-Azam trophy, he represented the Lahore team, playing two first-class matches and scoring 16 runs in three innings.
