Five Family Members Killed as Vehicle Falls into a deep Valley in the Barbatkot area of Shangla district, located in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. The incident occurred on Monday.
According to reports, five members of the same family died in a tragic accident when their vehicle plunged into a gorge in the Barbatkot area of Shangla district. The police confirmed the deaths and stated that efforts are underway to recover the bodies with the assistance of local residents.
Earlier on the same day, another accident occurred on the Rawalpindi motorway, resulting in the deaths of at least six people and injuries to others. This accident occurred due to a collision between a gas tanker and a car in the Salt Range area. The motorway spokesperson confirmed the casualties and mentioned that the tanker collided with the car, leading to fatalities and injuries.
Initial reports indicated that the accident happened because the gas tanker’s brakes failed, causing it to crash into the car traveling in the opposite direction. The gas tanker was en route from Rawalpindi to Faisalabad when the collision occurred. Upon receiving the report, motorway police and rescue teams rushed to the scene and conducted rescue operations.
The injured individuals were transported to the hospital for medical treatment, while the deceased were taken for legal formalities.
