In a thrilling Qualifier 2 match at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, Sunrisers Hyderabad secured a commanding 36-run victory over Rajasthan Royals, earning their third trip to the IPL final.
After losing the toss, SRH was sent in to bat and posted a total of 175/9 in their allotted 20 overs, thanks to a strong batting performance. Without the interference of dew, the Royals found the chase increasingly challenging. Spinners Abhishek Sharma and Shahbaz Ahmad dismantled the top order, claiming five crucial wickets.
SRH is set to face KKR in the IPL 2024 final at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Sunday.
