Pakistan Removes Hasan Ali from Team Before England T20 Series
Pakistan decided to not include fast bowler Hasan Ali in the squad for the first T20I against England in Leeds. They did this because Hasan Ali has commitments to play for Warwickshire County Cricket Club in England.
Initially, Hasan Ali was included in the Pakistan squad as a backup for fast bowler Haris Rauf, who was recovering from a shoulder injury. But now that Rauf is fit to play, Hasan Ali’s presence in the squad isn’t needed anymore.
Pakistan’s captain, Babar Azam, confirmed that Haris Rauf is fit to play in the upcoming series. He said, “We’ve received clearance for Haris Rauf. He’s available for this series. So, by the will of Almighty Allah, he will surely be seen in action in the series.”
Haris Rauf missed the entire T20I series against Ireland because of his injury, while Hasan Ali played only one game. Pakistan won the series against Ireland, winning 2-1 in the three-match T20I series. Now, they’re getting ready to play against England.
