Honor has stepped up its teaser campaign for the upcoming Magic V3 foldable smartphone, revealing new color options and showcasing leaked live images. Now, detailed specifications of the device have surfaced.

The Magic V3 is reported to have a remarkably slim profile, measuring just 9.7mm when folded, which is 0.2mm thinner than its predecessor, still holding the title of the world’s thinnest foldable phone. It weighs approximately 226g, shedding 5g compared to its predecessor.

Key features include an IPX8 rating for water resistance, indicating robust protection against water ingress. It boasts a substantial 5,200 mAh battery with support for rapid 66W wired charging, ensuring quick power replenishment.

Performance-wise, the Magic V3 is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, promising robust processing capabilities. It also features an X-axis linear vibration motor for enhanced tactile feedback.

Photography enthusiasts will appreciate its versatile camera setup, highlighted by a 50 MP main camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and a 3.5x optical zoom telephoto lens.

Additionally, the smartphone supports satellite communication, offers wireless charging capabilities, and incorporates a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for convenient security access. The device is encased in a durable metal frame for added durability and premium feel.

The official unveiling of the Honor Magic V3 is scheduled for July 12, marking its debut in the competitive foldable smartphone market.
