Last week, Xiaomi’s founder and CEO Lei Jun confirmed the upcoming launch of the Mix Fold 4 and Mix Flip models later this month. Today, Xiaomi announced that the Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 will debut in China on July 19 at 7 PM local time.
While specific details about the Mix Fold 4’s specifications were not disclosed, Xiaomi revealed that the foldable device will be 9.47mm thin and weigh 226g. It will boast a quad-camera system featuring Leica optics, including two telephoto cameras, one of which will be a 5X periscope unit.
In addition to these features, Xiaomi highlighted that the Mix Fold 4 will be IPX8-rated for water resistance, support 50W wireless charging, and include two-way satellite communication capabilities.
Accompanying the launch of the Mix Fold 4 on July 19, Xiaomi will also unveil the Smart Band 9 and the Redmi K70 Ultra.
