Galaxy S25 Ultra Thinner and Lighter Than iPhone 16 Pro Max and Pixel 9 Pro XL
Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to have a new design with more rounded corners compared to the previous model, making it more comfortable to hold.
According to recent rumors, the Galaxy S25 Ultra will be thinner and lighter than both the iPhone 16 Pro Max and Google’s Pixel 9 Pro XL. This means it should be easier to handle and carry around.
We don’t have the official dimensions for the Galaxy S25 Ultra yet since it’s set to be announced on September 9. However, we do have some details for comparison. The Pixel 9 Pro XL is 8.5 mm thick and weighs 221 grams, while the Galaxy S24 Ultra is 8.6 mm thick and weighs 232 grams.
Based on these numbers, the Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to be no thicker than 8.4 mm and should weigh 220 grams or less. According to Ice Universe, a well-known Chinese leaker, the S25 Ultra will not only be thinner and lighter than the iPhone 16 Pro Max and Pixel 9 Pro XL but also thinner and lighter than any other upcoming Ultra flagship phones.
This means the S25 Ultra could be more slender and lighter than other high-end models like the Oppo Find X8 Ultra, Xiaomi 15 Ultra, and vivo X200 Ultra, all of which are expected to be released in the next few months. With its slim design, light weight, and very small bezels, the Galaxy S25 Ultra could be a very attractive option.
